Automated Topology Optimizer (ATO)

Automated Topology Optimizer (ATO) is a new application that facilitates integration of renewable energy by optimizing the existing transmission system and its topology.
Fully integrated into POM Suite/ROSE software, it mitigates post-contingency voltage and/or thermal violations by identifying system reconfiguration solutions. Reconfiguration solutions include switching out lines, transformers and opening switchgear to split stations.
This grid-enhancing technology allows our users to increase capacity to facilitate integration of IBRs and enable more resilient operation of transmission system while new large-scale transmission buildout is on its way. Please contact us for more details or demo.
